Thank You For Being Willing To Help Assure The Safety Of The Rabbits In Your State!
Volunteers are responsible for the following:
- Being Educated Regarding RHD, it's cause and measures necessary to insure the safety of Rabbits.
- Sending an introduction letter to State Veterinarians and Diagnostic Laboratories and becoming a liason if necessary
- Answering phone calls when others suspect RHD, talking them through correct procedures
- Coordinating any legislative issues - communicating with Legislators representing your state in the House and Senate.
- Coordinating Education programs developed by all involved.
This list may change, and hopefully duties will be shared with other volunteers in your area
